We share a fascinating history with the Royal Opera House. Our earliest connection with Covent Garden dates back to 1733 and in the early nineteenth century Thomas Coutts, a partner in the bank, became a shareholder of the theatre.
We are very pleased to continue this relationship and have sponsored productions at the opera house since 2003. In 2012 we are sponsoring La Bohème with sensational casts including Anja Harteros with Joseph Calleja and Barbara Frittoli with Roberto Alagna.
