Michael has over 30 years experience in financial services.
Before joining Coutts as Chief Executive in 2009 he was Head of International Private Banking at Barclays Wealth and CEO of Barclays Switzerland. Michael also spent eight years with Merrill Lynch, becoming Managing Director and Director of Private Wealth Services for Europe and the Middle East.
Michael is married with two sons and studied Modern and Medieval languages at Cambridge.
